 WHAT WE DO

WE DON’T BUILD GUZZLERS. WE DON’T TRAP AND TRANSPLANT BIG GAME. WE DON’T RESEED WILDFIRE, OR SPONSOR YOUTH CAMPS (ALTHOUGH OUR DIRECTORS AS INDIVIDUALS VOLUNTEER ON ALL OF THESE ENDEAVORS). WHAT WE DO IS EDUCATE AND LOBBY OUR STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATORS AND INFLUENCE POLICY MAKERS FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR WILDLIFE AND OUR SPORTING TRADITION.

 

The Coalition for Nevada’s Wildlife is a registered 501(c)4 non-profit. Because of our lobbying and political efforts on behalf of Nevada’s sportsmen and women, donations to the Coalition are not tax deductible.

Hunting, trapping, and fishing remain especially relevant to our modern culture, and critical to the continued conservation of wildlife and wild places. Here’s just a few of the reasons why:

 

NORTH AMERICAN MODEL OF WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

Wildlife in North America is held in the public trust, managed by state agencies, in accordance with the best available science for the benefit and enjoyment of the public.

ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF HUNTING, TRAPPING, & ANGLING

Nearly 190,000 Nevadans have hunted, trapped, and/or fished since 2011, with an economic impact to the state of over 1 billion dollars annually.

FIELD TO FORK

Free Range. Organic. Locally Sourced. Lean. Sustainable.

For these reasons and others, more and more Nevadan’s are turning to wild game for a portion of their diet
